I wish I knew how to put myself first. How not to give in to others, how not to give up for them. For in a world where others think of others but you, it's quite depressing to know that you will never stand a chance on being first priority, unless you make a brave move and make yourself one.

Someone once told me I make my life sound so interesting. And he's right. Maybe I have this way of making things sound better than how they really are. But I couldn't say that to this year's summer. I challenged myself to make it the best and it really was!

My initial plan was to accomplish all these:

* Drive
* Dive
* Read (I don't have time to read during school months!)
* Work
* Learn How To Zip and Frizbee!
* Work Out
* Climb
* Travel

What did I end up doing?

All of them :)

I now drive alone and have the freedom to go anywhere I want to almost anytime I want to.:P

I'm now a certified diver and a certified addict as well.:)

I got the chance to read up until the middle of Sophie's World (it's quite long!) and Malcolm Gladwell's The Tipping Point (I recommend this book! It's really nice!)

I worked a few times so I have money for diving, hehehe.:P

I bought a pair of zips and learned a few tricks from Nins in Bora! Yahoo!!!

I also went to the beginner's night of frizbee where I learned all the basic tricks. I plan to learn
more about the sport (Thanks Floi!)! It's actually fun!

I worked out all summer--sports, gym, and every little action that means burning calories!:P

I also went wall climbing thrice a week for a month for my PE class and it was so fun. It's hard but really worth putting your energy on. Talk about full body workout!

And of course, I was able to travel. I went to Boracay, to La Mesa Ecopark, to Lipa (to spend holy week with Pao's family) and to the resorts of Anilao. Diving made me stay in Luzon and I plan to travel this way for a looong time.

Aside from my plans, I was able to do a few more things like bowling, skating, mini golf, badminton, firing and hanging out in the fields of UP once or twice during my summer and I got to try one of the most tiring watersports--wakeboarding!! I was able to stand the first day and I'm so proud of that.

I also got to watch so many series like 24 Season 5, Lost, Grey's Anatomy, The OC, One Tree Hill, Ghost Whisperer, Numbers and my favorite as of the moment: PRISON BREAK!!!

Just writing this makes me think of how exciting summer was for me again and I can't wait to go back to that kind of lifestyle. School's back, studying hours are taking forever and people are no longer as available. :( Summer was just really productive and I super super miss it. I miss the feeling of waking up with something to do, or the feeling of trying something new!

Oh well. I guess I'll have to wait a whole year before doing all these again. For the time being, I can just go back to making my life sound interesting here.:P

Welcome to my blog!:)
